MONEY

It is recommended that you contact your bank and inform them of your travel plans so your accounts are not frozen. Please bring about $100 U.S. dollars to be exchanged on arrival. After that, there are really two ways to get money. One, bring lots of cash, hide it, and exchange as needed. Two, bring a debit card that can be used when you need money. ATMs are readily available to the areas we will be traveling.  There is a relatively minimal charge when you do use your debit card, but most travelers say they would rather pay a fee than carry around lots of cash with them. Please contact your bank for details on international withdrawals. Credit cards can be used but usually incur a percentage fee. Contact your bank for details.
